"This is the day the Lord has made we should rejoice and be glad in it" and if we are not glad we need to look at the reason and see if the source is "of God", if not we should do what ever is necessary to to get rid of the obstruction. This will help us to purify the way.
I am working on a whole bunch of collages and it is amazing to me to see the variance in the way they come out, but if I look back at what I have done I should realize that my work tends to be different in nature possibly because I work from nature, or at least my memories of the vistas of nature I have observed. I find that as long as something sits around and is not framed it is at risk of being worked on and changed, This would be the evolution in my work. Things don't stand still they change, fall down or pass away.
Thank you, Jim for your Holy Spirit inspired entry about 'rejoicing in the Lord'...getting rid
ReplyDeleteof 'obstructions', especially those that attack
my mind is important...those 'obstructins'
definitely steal my joy...I never really thought of it has purifying my way...
Your comment on 'change' ministered to me to too.
Change is hard for me..I need to see Godly change
as a path to improving myself..and especially
honoring our Lord..
Col. 3:23 says that whatever we do, do it heartily as unto the Lord....always remembering
and following those instructions will always keep
up on the right path
As usual your ART continues to amaze me..It's
a blessing to following you in your calling
