Oh,well then, we plod on. Dragged down beaten into shape remolded to fit our environmental constraints. 
This is life. This is what we fight for,we live for, we yearn for and we eventually die for. On we go, and the next adventure is just around the next bend,

As I get closer. to what you may  ask, to the point of no return !I feel that I must stay the course.I must honot the traditions of painters who strive to do something new and different. I feel that what I do with my landscapes is new, as I strive to enlarge my scope of the fragmented landscape.
It becomes increasingly more difficult to arrive at a place of personal validity.
Time marches on, maybe that should be races on.

When I was young it had to be done quickly. now as I age, it is lucky to get done at all.

Too much time thinking and less time doing. But at last this one was a lot of fun.

So it seemed faster than it is.

Updating posted works

things get bogged down  and I need to have my spirits uplifted to see the way ahead.

I am part of my transformation. When and if things get moving again I will revisit my landscapes. 

 But for now I will try to physically reflect on my inner person. I will use my sense of design to enhance the outcome.

Its been a while, but I am working on to pieces of my recent memories of Nebraska,Wyoming, and what we saw this summer. Here then is the continuation of my fragmented landscapers.

As we saw first hand where the sun was friendly it blessed the plains with an abundance, where it was harsh it scorched and burned,almost to unrecognizable.

A chance to vary the approach. Ordinarily I sketch the design of the project first, this timer I used a 3” putty knife to lay down the acrylic color to start, then collage ad ink were applied.

Then I went in with watercolor to define areas.

I was planning to up date blog with new and pertinent information on the  new works I have been working on of late..My work of abstraction with collage objects. Collage with paint creates a feeling not readily available with the use of paint alone, an added dimension..I am very caught up in the thought processes of the creation. Often I envision the next work and decide to forgo the creation on paper because the mental work was enough satisfaction.With the work tending toward the symbolic in nature. I must derive the work as on a plain of thought as well as in reality a piece of paper with paint and other elements.

2012 has come and gone.
 The 12th Baktun has also ended with a little less fanfare than Y2K  other than the collusive political media which has made a big tado about the end of the world. Oops!  Yet the body politic wiyh its great change could be nothing more than the manipulation of America by a subversive  American government which seeks to completely change our country into the new Dole state.

In that light I have finished a new painting.
