June 5

Another week has come and gone. It would be personal to think if things have gotten better or worse, and at best it would be relative.

When we get older we tend to think in streams and these streams encompass the present and our past and are intertwined with the future we see, our relativistic future. The future we see could be coming, not necessarily any part of what is to come.More of a gate way of possibilities. As I get older I don't so much worry about the future, as wonder how the people I know will be caught up in it. Will they be successful or will they fail.

We do not often consider the consequences of our Actions. Is it like we are taught in the church that all of our actions are ordained and orchestrated by God. If in fact that is the case then there nothing we do can change any thing. We seek to do is of no consequence. So since we are not a viable instrument of change. We might as well do what we can for those closes to to make our Mark. For those of us in Art we must seek a way to communicate what we are to those who will see our work.

Enough verbage for today.

  1. We are instruments of change because we all have
    a free will....freedom to make choices....choices
that either line up with the Word and the Will of
    God...or choices that don't...
Given the many times that I have made choices that were contrary to God's Will for my life, all
I know to do is to repent, turn away from my
wrongs and strive to walk with Jesus...
Jesus' commandment in the New Testament to 'love
the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and
mind' and to 'love our neighbors as ourselves'...
These are what we should live by...all the rest
stems from these commands of LOVE...
